Congress has a 10% approval rating because too many politicians betray their promises and say whatever they need to get elected. That’s not who I am. I’m proud of the campaign we’ve run because I’ve stood firmly with the people in my district and my values. You can trust that I’ll always do that.

What happened with Poetica Coffee this weekend does not reflect the New York City I know and love. We’re better than that. In difficult times like these, we must come together and fight for the future we all deserve.

Last week, I finally got to meet Joan, who my office helped this year after she was illegally held by ICE. Trump’s immigration dragnet is wreaking havoc on our communities. Let’s stop this madness — we need to abolish ICE and make sure nobody has to go through what Joan and her husband endured.

Had a great afternoon at the Seventh Heaven Street Fair in Park Slope chatting with voters and ending the day with some smoothies with the kids. Of course we had to do a taste test. Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there!

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there! Nothing has brought me more joy in my life than being a father of to my five amazing children. And they are the only ones who can successfully get me to stop a speech when it’s going on for too long!

Donald Trump is not well. He’s not fit for office, and New Yorkers are paying the price. Right now we need leaders in Congress who know how to take on Trump and his cronies. I’ve beaten Trump before, and I’ll do it again.

Had a beautiful morning rallying our volunteers outside Brooklyn’s historic Borough Hall, one of the many gems of NY-10. I am eternally grateful for all the diverse coalition of support this campaign is building. And a huge thank you UFT’s Janella Hinds for joining me!

Such a proud moment to vote alongside my family today. My wife and kids are so central to the work I do in Congress. With a tyrant in the White House, their future is on the line. I’m lucky to be able to fight for a brighter future for them and every New Yorker.

I’ve been raising the alarm for months about ​Trump’s efforts to rig the midterm elections. Now I am taking aggressive action that will stop the federal government from interfering with election equipment. We need Democrats who know how to take on Trump. I beat him before, & I'll do it again.

From leading the first impeachment of Donald Trump despite his blanket obstruction, I helped establish the blueprint for how to uncover his corruption and hold him accountable. I’m honored to be endorsed by my colleagues who served as impeachment managers in Trump’s impeachment trials.

Grateful for each and every one of our fantastic volunteers. Every day they show up to fight for our democracy and working families across NYC. They inspire me and I’m honored to work alongside them.

From the parade to Red Hook to knock doors with my family this afternoon! We had a blast chatting with New Yorkers about issues that are top of mind for them — and the Knicks, of course! We looked for Red Hook resident Carmelo Anthony but didn’t find him this time. Next time, for sure.
