What goes through my brain when I hear Spain and Argentina in the same sentence. Spanish conquistadors permanently shaped Argentina by establishing its foundational cities (like Buenos Aires in 1536 and 1580), imposing the Spanish language and Catholic religion, and introducing horses and cattle.
