I'm glad that Senza had some measure of success this season, and was able to redeem those years that were a total waste due to both injury and Bud Black telling him to spam fastballs to the same location every at-bat. If there is a long third act for him I'm glad we got to see a bit of it in purple.

Five years since the Royals got the Dodgers to take Danny Duffy on an injury flier at the deadline, they've done it again with Kris Bubic. Duffy never pitched for the Dodgers, or anyone else, ever again, so hopefully for Bubic's sake there's a better outcome here!
