All Six Nations, Ireland have been excellent defending teams in the 22 on multiple phases. Scotland actually did better in this regard than most, but it cost them a lot to resource. Ireland had fewer rucks, a lower kick-to-pass ratio, and were more efficient. It took Scotland too much effort.
