Home from Menorca, where it’s been lipstick-meltingly hot! I know from headlines that it’s been similar here (although it’s simply a perfectly pleasant English summer day now) but I quickly find evidence of previous heat in my south facing kitchen where my rubber gloves have melted on a window sill!
