I think I've asked this before, but I'm still not fully understanding it. Why do some people say "eXetera", "eXcape" and so on when there's no "x" there? It doesn't shorten the word or make any kind of linguistic sense! In case of "eXcape", I'd argue that it even makes it longer.

Sometimes, FaceBook actually gives some good reminders. This one's from five years ago, and I must say that I kinda like it still. Remember when I decided what animal I would draw with a randomizer? That was really good practice. Really enjoy the grizzled look of the ferryman.
