A weekend in the Pacific Northwest includes a Friday hike and a Saturday 10k. I’m taking the rest of the weekend off.
Drew and I have been busy releasing another episode of Drew and Dan in the Morning. Episode 8! We're also playing around with some new album art for the podcast, here's one concept. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/d...
A clip waaaay back from Episode 1 of Drew and Dan in the Morning! Ahh how young we were...3 months ago. I just completed editing Ep. 8 a few minutes ago.

Wide Angle Coffee would be a good name for a coffee shop, but this one is called Base Camp.
Ordered a bunch of magnets to do some guerrilla marketing at running events for my new app. Now I only need to find some guerrillas.
When @thedrewbenson.bsky.social and I get together, it's always morning! Drew and Dan in the Morning is back with another episode where I get a little fired up about online identity verification. But do the tools lock us in? podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/d... youtu.be/hYF-xvJWIco?...

Downtown Albuquerque is one hell of a vibe. The buildings, people and cars are a trip to a dusty and nearly forgotten south west. But they are serving up some Legit Detroit style pizza at the 505 Central Food Hall. Incidentally, “Version Not Supported” is appropriate.

Just a regular night in a hotel, this is all perfectly normal. Also a new blog post is coming soon discussing Vapor / Fluent Migrations.
Emailing out press kits trying to get a blink of interest for Relay Team Finder. Simultaneously I watch people in this coffee shop show each other apps on their phones to download. Which is the real way to get traction. Until then, there’s this.
From File > New Project on 14 Feb 2026, including a Vapor backend, Relay Team Finder shipped today! I'm also proud to say all bugs, spaghetti code, even the shitty icon was hand crafted by me. RTF helps runners find relay teams, and vice versa. US store only for now🧵 apps.apple.com/us/app/relay...

App rejected for having the user enter their age. The app pairs relay race teams with runners and some teams form with things like “over 40 only” and such. When I was setting this up it should have raised a red flag for me but didn’t. Fairly easy fix but it will take a new server migration. 👨💻
Filtering in Vapor has always puzzled me a bit. So I wrote a blog post about it. It took me about 3 days to write this, but it'll take you about 10 minutes to read it if you're interested. certainlyswift.com/demystifying...

We’re back with another delightful episode of Drew and Dan in the Morning. Drew educates me on Icon Composer files and we discuss App Store procedural drift. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/d...
App Store Connect seems to be having a little trouble this morning...for me at least.

My wife runs...a lot. Sometimes alone, other times on a team in Relays. Building teams is generally done manually through forums or by who knows who. It's tedious. So I made Relay Team Finder to help runners find teams and match teams with runners. Info in next post about a brief TestFlight. 🏃🏻♀️🏃♂️
