Christopher Nolan said he's only seen the crew applaud an actor on set twice in his career. This first was Heath Ledger as the Joker, the second was Samantha Morton as Circe in THE ODYSSEY.

Last time this came up, I checked and the Aus/NZ Disney+ version is uncensored. Will check again tonight.

Another reminder that physical media is the best way to guarantee you’ll always have access to the film that was originally released into theaters is the fact that Disney edited THE FRENCH CONNECTION for modern streaming & rep house versions. Our discs now valuable historic cultural documents.

Considering that the film makes explicitly clear that the Trojan Horse was full of piss and shit, this is a brave initiative.
