The Times reports a conversation with Exeter University classicist Dr Emily Hauser after a a lecture at the Chalke History Festival, regarding the proposed redundancies (150) at that university, especially in Humanities and Social Sciences. The redundance announcement was made during an online meeting. Staff were not permitted to ask questions at the meeting, The Times reports.
