Rewatching “Nirvanna The Band, The Show” with @noshyena.bsky.social and holy shit, still just as funny as I remember! We’d watch it together at my old apartment in Ohio when we started dating, so huge nostalgia trip too. It’s a genuinely unique, hilarious show and I highly recommend it!
There are few things more annoying than getting stuck in line behind a scratch off addict at the gas station when you’re in a hurry.
Also bagged three more Colorado waterfalls today: Silver Creek Falls, Saint Mary’s Lake Falls, and Saint Mary’s Glacier Falls. The last one actually flows directly out from under the glacier.
Went up to Saint Mary’s Glacier today with @noshyena.bsky.social and man is it beautiful up there! One of our favorite local nature spots for sure ^^
Getting sweep picked arpeggios down on guitar was a big milestone for me a while back. Now I’m finally to the point where I can smoothly incorporate them into an improvised solo without it sounding clunky or forced. Very happy with where I’m at now!

Guys I know this has basically turned into a storm chasing account, but there will be more furry stuff I promise lol. I’ve recently fallen back in love with this hobby and when I get into a hobby, I go for it 100%! I just want to share this passion of mine with you all. ❤️
I also had a crazy storm chasing experience on Monday! This absolute BEAST of a supercell had the craziest inflow winds we’ve ever experienced. It was literally sucking in unbelievable amounts dust and sand. We got sandblasted and lost visibility multiple times! What a rush <3
Saw another Colorado tornado yesterday south of Fort Morgan! It was weak and brief, kicking up dust under a ragged funnel. Not a very pretty tornado, but still a cool moment. I still haven’t reached my goal of seeing a big photogenic tornado, but it’ll happen one of these days…
Some other views of yesterday’s storms as things were winding down, including a twisting LP at sunset with mammatus clouds, mammatus just after sunset, and cloud to ground lightning from the final storm of the night. Mother Nature put on one hell of a show for us!
Ooooh we did it again folks! This time we brought @noshyena.bsky.social along, making for his first ever storm chase, and what an incredible chase it was! No tornadoes this time, but it we saw incredible storm structure. This was a very menacing storm.
I now have a NEED to storm chase! Yesterday ignited a passion for High Plains severe weather, and there’s still plenty of season left. My goal is to see a beautiful fully condensed tornado before the year ends, but even if that doesn’t happen, just want to get out there again!

Yesterday’s storm chase w @houndinthefox.bsky.social and @kiloshark.bsky.social my first in years and it was AMAZING! We saw several small tornadoes and funnels!! These may not be big ones, but they’re the first tornadoes I’ve successfully chased in Colorado, so for me it’s a big milestone!
On a mission to see every single Denver area waterfall! Went to Chicago Creek Falls and Bridal Veil Falls and wrapped up at Jinya. Chicago Creek Falls was tiny but is probably nicer with more water. Bridal Veil Falls was quite tall and very scenic. Two more down, hundreds to go!

Nothing ruins your 420 vibe like finding a disheveled, incoherent man sitting in the dark on your porch, and then hiding with your parter as he tries to get inside your house while you call 911. Cops came. Dude was tripping balls and thought our front porch was a bus stop. What the fuck!?!

My favorite guitar is gonna be in the shop for a few weeks :( I’ve still got my backup guitars, but there’s something special about my old ESP. It’s my go-to when I’m stressed and want to unwind. At least it’ll be in great shape when I get it back!
