I made this #wolqotd a few years ago back when not many people were here yet, and I'd like to revisit it because I find it interesting. Your OC found a ring that has the power to manifest their soul as a weapon (or object) to be used in combat. What form would their soul take?

Darius is constantly on the edge of bankruptcy if he isn't just straight-up broke. The mercenary company turns a tidy profit but it's overheads are high. Therefore, profit margins are razor-thin. Any time they manage to score a big payday, the money also has a habit of vanishing instantly.

After farming the mounts out of the last two expansions, I think I'm good on hearing bosses say "THE VOID" pretty much forever now.

Darius swims quite well- water routes are an extremely attractive option when you're trying to be sneaky. Samga swims well enough, she used to play in rivers as a kid. Odette sinks like a rock, and she finds the act of swimming to be unbecoming of a lady of her good breeding. So no, she can't swim

Darius is good at mending and modifying clothing. He picked up the skill out of necessity, mending gear in the field. He further honed his skills by adding hidden pockets and compartments to his clothes for *underhanded* reasons. In terms of style? Mixed results.

Darius sticks around Limsa Lominsa- they're the least fussy about potential criminal backgrounds. He's pissed off some gangs in UI'Dah, isn't super comfortable around Ala Mhigan refugees, and would rather stay away from the synidcate. He has actively broken the law in Gridania and Ishgard.

I guess it would've been 2010, working out lore for Darius using what little we had at the time. He started as an Ala Mhigan, but that changed over time as we got a clearer picture of what Ala Mhigo was actually like, and it just didn't suit him. He's been mostly consistent, though.
