Being a good DM sometimes means going into a deep dive into the math-nerd pages of Wikipedia to find Euler-Eytelwein's belt friction formula, calculating the effective weight of an anchor in salt water, and PHB to find "drag weight" so I know what STR score players need to lift it with a capstan.
