You probably know me from the VGM scene (I run the team that runs @ocremix.org), but On Here I’m rediscovering Bollywood movies and music. Partial to the 90s/00s era.
In my old Chrono Trigger remix (from 2004!?), Through the Dark, I arranged the theme from Manoria Cathedral. The original is in 3/4 but here we change it to 4/4 with a tresillo rhythm. Really easy way to go from 3/4 to 4/4; keep that in your back pocket.

They should make a FFXIV anime but instead of it being about the WoL and the Scions and all of the crazy Final Fantasy shit it should be *exclusively* about the Arcadion fighters.
As excited as I am about a new Mega Man game, I wish @capcomusa.com would additionally double-down on Mega Man as a merch franchise and get us some stuff for little kids. My 3yo is very into Mega Man right now and I’d love some board books or kid safe toys. Right now it’s a lot of nostalgia items.

It’s from 2010 and, y’know, as much as I love this medium and as much as I champion “dated” games, that was really too early to do a book like that

Every once in a while I remember that there was an episode of Doug where the class was graduating and during the ceremony someone, I think it might have been Chaulky Studebaker, was singing Pomp and Circumstance, the lyrics of which were "Pomp and Circumstance" over and over again.

People losing their minds over Evercold’s raid series being an FF7 “collab” when Eden is FF8, All of Endwalker is FF4, and Dawntrail can’t stop referencing FF9. Literally have an Alliance raid series that combines FF12 and Tactics, and another one that that’s barely distinguishable from FF11.

Anytime you read someone talking about how they "quietly coded" something in their free time it's a dead giveaway that they didn't actually code it themselves and just used LLMs, because any person who actually codes for a living does not do it quietly. We curse at these machines. Loudly.
