I graduated (uni) in '08 but now is the worst job market I've ever seen. Never before seen so many jobs close early. Which has made my search nigh impossible as it takes me a long time to write tailored cover letters/statements & CVs. BUT. Finally managed to get one in and have got an interview 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Meeting my 6th manager in 3.5 years today. Will be the 1st time I've had a manager that's at a lower level than my meetings. Never before had to worry about confidentiality (of that sort) when talking to my manager. And they're not related to my job either... I don't think this is going to work... 😂

Thought The Odyssey was pretty good! Bit long for me - very hard to sit still for that long, wish intermissions would make a comeback 😂 But cinema is definitely a much, much better experience with Loop earplugs and subtitles.

First film I've seen in theatres since Hunger Games 1 😂 Not sure it's the best choice for that BUT it is the first that I've had at least vague interest in seeing that has ALSO stuck around long enough for me to find a subtitled showing I can make, sooo... Lucky for me, the judge had time yesterday, and I already got the result. I passed!!! :D :D :D 🥳🥳🥳 I can do things 6 year olds can do - and almost as well 😂 On to the next test!

This is insane. My house is already 24.5 on the inside. What do I even do if my house hits 30+ (for both me and the cats...)??? Last heatwave made me feel ill and my house was "only" 26/27.

New fridge in place. RIP to the old one. Now just gotta talk myself into replacing the electric shower (been avoiding since it went kaput in Dec 'cause it'll take me from very broke to mega broke 😂)... And sorting out the roof leak... And maybe the slightly leaky kitchen faucet... (Pls house stop)😂😭
My coach (and Bradford skaters) are about to skate in the opening ceremony of the European Championships in Sheffield! Can't wait to watch them!
Unless of course the shower isn't on the fuse board, which it might not be. There are a few electric things in the basement that I'm not sure what they are (i.e. none of it - even the fuse board is just labelled "Lights" for everything - not very helpful 😂😂😂)

Any electrician I get in to install a new one is gonna take one look at my 1960s wooden-backed fuse board and nope the fuck out - and replacing that is not really in the cards soon (or ever) 😂
