Humbling moment at the fabric store when the young man cutting my fabric asked me how long I've been sewing garments and I had to answer "about 30 years" knowing that after all this time I'm still not especially good at it.

Put on high top All Stars with a dress "Do I look like Ramona Quimby?" Rob: "um...no" "Do I look like Idgie Threadgoode??" Rob: "I get a lot of your references but I don't get that one" I'm spiraling in 80s/90s nostalgia. Where my Fried Green Tomatoes girlies at?

I have a migraine and also the world is so sad sometimes and also people are taking advantage of my kindness. These are all unrelated to each other and I just felt like doing a bit of light complaining. Now I'm going to put on something pretty to go watch drag and feel joy.

Our long household nightmare is over and we finally have Internet again! I've watched game shows I didn't know existed and more episodes of The Drew Carey Show than I've seen since it's original run (4)! Now I can get back to my stories (drag and wrestling)l

Three showers in the new house and unfortunately the only one is worth a shit is the one furthest from our bedroom. But it's also huge and a steam sauna so it's worth the steps. New shower heads will help the rest.

Unhappy campers who got locked in a room, then pet carriers, then a car ride, and now another (unfamiliar) room. A tough day for the kitties... but wait until they see a whole basement full of carpet they can run around on!

In the 10 years I've owned and worn a T-shirt that was"it's not a business it's a civilization" no one has ever asked me about it until today. Not sure the clerk at the gas station was ready for my cheery explanation that the government should never be run like a business... because it isn't one.

Today wrapped up what, for me, has been the hardest part of this move... getting the current house ready for listing photos. Having to completely remove my personality from my living space while still living there has been so tedious!
