Blaidd. He’s the embodiment of the knightly spirit, its strengths and its flaws, and ultimately, its tragic conclusion. The contradictions within his being were what made him a compelling character, and what made losing him so devastating. Any better ending he deserved he threw away for his duty.

Asgore. His character arc across both games are grasped easily enough, but the execution across both games are among the best examples. Tragic (and fatal) self-destructive tendencies. A loving father prone to the lure of violent catharsis in the face of injustice. Hope for him lays beyond himself.

I can’t believe it took me this long to make the connection, but Kris’s appearance and relation to the Holidays couldn’t be more clear; we may not know who the Roaring Knight is, but we DO know what Kris’s role in the story is. Kris is the Silent Knight, and all the implications the wordplay implies
