Before Online released and made itself huge, GTA V already was a popular, best-selling game. Thanks to its world and story. Showing the faltering relationships of three people who come together to face what Southern San Andreas throws at them. #LookBack #GTAV

The final part of this countdown to the next GTA by looking back at GTA V, this part covers the story. The content that Online doesn't touch.

The announcement of Hot Wheels Infinite Rush was one I loved. And now the full game is here, I love it even more. Milestone have taken everything that worked in the Unleashed games and applied it to a more open experience that I say is easily recommended. #HotWheelsInfiniteRush #XboxSeries #Review

Unleashing A Fun New Direction With Hot Wheels Infinite Rush - DarkRula Media

Hot Wheels Infinite Rush takes the great Milestone formula from the Unleashed games, and makes it work with a more open experience.

Yesterday, I finished with my read of The Lord of the Rings. What a story. So much to enjoy with it! It's a wonder it took me so long to dive in. But, I'm certainly a fan of the franchise now. So, time to get The Hobbit read before moving onto the films.

The first of the two Nintendo Directs of the week is over, showing off a lot about The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, along with a few other ways to celebrate the 40th anniversary, including a concert touring the world. #Zelda40Direct #OcarinaOfTime

Another Moonlit Critbit allows me to look back on the films of the Cats & Dogs series. Two great films, with a third. Admittedly I've only recently seen the third, but even so. It's not the greatest. Though somewhat better than its trailer would have you believe. #MoonlitCritbit #Cats&Dogs

Cats & Dogs – Moonlit Critbit - DarkRula Media

In this latest Moonlit Critbit, I revisit the films of the Cats & Dogs series. Including a first-time watch of the third film.

I'm out walking once again! For reasons completely unknown to me, the pain that has kept me from walking disappeared on Friday. Full mobility returned, which is a massive difference from even the day before. There's still some slight stinging on the hip joint, but it is good to walk pain free again.

Fellowship of the Ring finished. A nice read, as much showing the journey as various parts of this Middle-earth. And straight onto Two Towers, seeing the immediate aftermath of the breaking of the Fellowship.

The fifth event the Yogscast face in the simulated Bristol has arrived, being an RPG-like event where the four teams fight through monsters, levelling up and making additions to their builds, before coming together to face a final boss. #Yogscast #fanfiction #Wattpad

Mazey Village, developed by Slappy Inc., brings a cozy exploration game helping people recover lost items thrown to mazes by a tornado. It's a lovely, relaxed adventure, and so gets an easy recommendation from me. #MazeyVillage #Indie #Steam

A great celebration of classic Minecraft and its modpacks - and the Yogscast, Elsewhere is developed by Four White Cats. There's plenty to get stuck into with the range of creation options available. For me, it is an easy recommendation. #Elsewhere #Experiences #Indie #Steam

The Nostalgic Blocks Elsewhere Is Built From - DarkRula Media

Elsewhere recreates a more classic time of Minecraft and its modpacks, utilising its own visual style. With a lot of options for creation.

It's taken me... (checks note) forever to give The Lord of the Rings books a read. But now I've started, and I'm loving it. A nice build up to the importance of the ring and the danger of the quest. There's a lot more to enjoy throughout that quest, I'm sure.

What is potentially going to be my final game of Tiny Teams is what I'd consider to be its best. Cruise Control, in development by No More Robots, blends business management and roguelike elements. The demo gives a strong showing for why that works. #CruiseControl #TinyTeams #Indie #Steam

Cruise Control – First Impressions - DarkRula Media

The seventh game of Tiny Teams for me is Cruise Control, with a demo that shows just what this roguelike management game has to offer.

This next one during Tiny Teams is a lovely crafted adventure. Abigail, in development at Hapshapen Games, is a story of reconnecting with home. Utilising tiles from a game called Azulejo to aid in that. From these first impressions, it's going to be a great one. #Abigail #TinyTeams #Indie #Steam

Abigail – First Impressions - DarkRula Media

The sixth game I'm looking at during Tiny Teams is a crafted adventure. Abigail is a story of reconnecting with home having returned from the city.

We're going on a rampage with this next one featured on Tiny Teams. Deadliest Pigeon, developed by Rusty Rex, sees a pigeon waging war on the world in an act of revenge for a lost chick. Non-stop action as a one-pigeon army gets it an easy recommendation. #DeadliestPigeon #TinyTeams #Indie #Steam

Incoming Bird of Mass Destruction With Deadliest Pigeon - DarkRula Media

The fifth game I'm looking at during this Tiny Teams is Deadliest Pigeon. A non-stop action sidescroller on the deadliest act of revenge from a pigeon.

No more racing themed-games this Tiny Teams. Ultrapool, developed by Icedrop Games, is another roguelike. This time on a pool table. There's a rising challenge with the ball sets and difficulty options, which combines to an easy recommendation. #Ultrapool #TinyTeams #Indie #Steam

Smacking Balls Together For Sound Strategies In Ultrapool - DarkRula Media

Moving away from the racing theme, the next game from Tiny Teams is Ultrapool. A pool game turned roguelike, with plenty of fancy balls.

One last game with a racing theme for Tiny Teams. The Loopler, developed by Mheep, is a roguelike deckbuilder that provides a high-octane score-chaser. Hitting the ever-increasing points goals on a run to potentially infinity. #TheLoopler #TinyTeams #Indie #Steam

The Loopler – First Impressions - DarkRula Media

The third game I'm looking at during Tiny Teams is The Loopler, a roguelike deckbuilder that provides a high-octane high-score chase.

Tiny Teams continues, as does the racing theme. Sort of. Rollick N' Roll, developed by Crayonix Games, is a Screwball Scramble-like puzzler that provides a great sense of challenge for all types of players. And is one that is easily recommended. #RollickNRoll #TinyTeams #Indie #Steam

Scramblin’ Through to the Goal With Rollick N’ Roll - DarkRula Media

The second Tiny Teams game for this year is Rollick N' Roll, a Screwball Scramble-like game using vehicles instead of marbles.

Tiny Teams is here! And I'm starting off with a game that could star in a future Racing Month. Truckful, developed by MythicOwl, sees me delivering packages around the valley. Hoping to understand the mystery of the forest. #Truckful #TinyTeams #Indie #Steam

Truckful – First Impressions - DarkRula Media

Tiny Teams has arrived, with my first game being Truckful, a delivery game that holds some mysteries. The short demo has me wanting more.

It's taken way longer than it should have, but I reached the distance for the last of the original Star Wars Conqueror Challenges medal. Thanks to a lovely weekend seeing friends. So, here's a look at them all. And owing to the reason why it's taken so long, I'm not taking on any more for a while.

What better way to end this Racing Month than looking at the new additions that Bugbear have implemented with various updates to Wreckfest 2. It's getting closer to a full release now, and as ever is an easy recommendation from me. #Wreckfest2 #EarlyAccess #RacingMonth

There's been rain! It might not have been much, but it was so nice to listen to before I drifted off to sleep. And there's a big chance of rain across all of today, according to the Met Office. Bring it!

From a traditional rally experience to a futuristic one, Exo Rally Championship is a great example of such a futuristic rally game. I've found a love of arcade rally racers over the years, so it should be no surprise I've given Super Wooden: Rally Edge a go. Right from the off it was one I felt could easily be recommended, and nothing changed that across the hours I played. #SuperWoodenRallyEdge #Review #Indie #RacingMonth
