Car insurance company tried to negotiate us taking a cheaper offer using their ‘app rate’, which involves being location tracked by them for a month so that they can ‘tailor their future rates based on our behaviour’. Fuck right off with your dystopian surveillance and data hoarding 🤮

Feel hungover and exhausted, like I’ve had a full-on asthma attack. And that’s with the windows closed, etc. Clean air is so underrated 😅
We’re a good 15 miles away from the moor fires, but the air quality is fucking awful. Can’t imagine how it is there :( You’ll find me indoors for the foreseeable, probably having to sleep downstairs, because we can’t open the windows to cool the bedrooms down…
How to cope with 34 degree heat… build Lego under the air con while watching athletics, with an iced coffee and plenty of squash to drink. I’m very happy right now 😅🥰
Getting off the train was amusing, though. Saw the screen of an old guy (willing sitting in an aisle seat, in view of everyone) as he went to search for something in his browser - his phone tried to autofill to FREE PORN SITES as if it’s his most common search term. Naughty boy.

I feel like the social media ban for under 16s is well-intentioned, but surely they’ll just get around it, in the same way that we used to pirate mp3s and TV shows in the 00s? 😅 I feel like society would benefit more from shutting down the likes of predatory TikTok, Meta, Twitter etc completely 🤷♀️

I swear Threads is full of rage bait. Some guy was asking how to address a woman in an email when he ‘didn’t know if she was a Mrs or a Miss’. Why are we still using different titles depending on marital status anyway? Men don’t. Even if I get married, I’m remaining a Ms with my own name, thank you.

Is there any way to turn off the red dots in Teams during meetings for unread Chats and Q&As? They’re so damn distracting but I can’t find a way to do it 😭 I have to keep opening and closing them to get rid…
