I was inspired by the Microsoft Copilot community and the prompt being used to generate a sketch note styled profiles of who you are and what you do. I’m not precious about prompts. I felt prompted to join in the fun and share a profile from the perspective of Gollum.

Two separate conversations with M365 Copilot this week that went like this. Me: How do you do this thing? Copilot: Here are the steps. Me: In your last step you tell me to use a thing that doesn’t exist. Copilot: You’re right. Sorry. Here are the actual steps. Always check AI responses. Always.

I haven’t used Notion for a while. On the iPad app I try to add text but the whole page scrolls up and the cursor is off the top of the page. I am running version 1.7.303. It‘s unusable to edit pages on my iPad with this bug. anyone else seeing it?
If you’re going to be a Frontier company, you better be change-fit and able to adapt to day-to-day differences in the Copilot service.

What’s The Fuss about Copilot Cowork? Why is it such a step up from the Microsoft 365 Copilot we have seen so far? I take a close look at two suggested conversation starters and watch what Cowork does to make sense of my work. youtu.be/56WxCSD0_as?...

Sometimes I think that using generative AI is like that game we played with our little brother or sister. Darrell: “Guys, watch this. Hey Jimmy. Say ‘Fu*k’” Jimmy: says “Fu*k” in an innocent and inquisitive tone that asks “Did I say it right? Did I make you proud?”
I'm sorry to be so "Old Man Yells at Cloud," but please just let me ask, do you remember when the menu bar was at the top and everything was up there? Why do we want a menu on the left, and a menu on the right? Now there are little menus sneaking up from the bottom? Who do I report this bug to?
“What I would say is…” You did say it. I heard it. It’s not like you can take it back and say “I would have said that but I didn’t.”
Windows needs a sobriety test this morning. Start menu and icons on the taskbar are right of centre. This is on an LG Dual Up monitor with display orientation in portrait.
I just killed two Paperlike covers in a row, putting them on my iPad Mini. As soon as a hair or dust particle gets on that sticky surface, it’s going to annoy me. I can’t ignore the micro-bubble that distorts the light from the screen. I’m just going bare screen. I don’t have the patience anymore.
What’s up? I’m up Bluesky, ready to cohost the M365 Change Round-up with @tomarbuthnot.bsky.social and Daniel Glenn for Empowering Cloud. Taking one for the team and this month, I didn’t sleep in. empowering.cloud/events/#cale...
Store Manager Agent - the Store Manager that isn’t actually in the store and never will be. But it can make sure there are real humans available to cover a shift from another human who is sick after a late night of… working. #MSIgnite
Agents for Copilot Chat. Copilot used to make changes to your document using App Skills. Now those skills have been moved out of natural chat and you have to select the agent to make those AI powered changes. It has been a dizzying journey watching multiple pivots to land on this approach #MSIgnite
Copilot in LinkedIn? Will we see even more AI-written resumes and posts, written directly from LinkedIn? WorkIQ. Choose the “next best Agent” for the job? 🫣 #MSIgnite
“Democratising Intelligence.” More like Monetising Intelligence. This democracy costs to give everyone access. Enter the new licensing models to access the intelligence. #MSIgnite
I need AI to help me keep up with changes and news in AI. That puts me, the human, further out of the loop. It puts the algorithms in control. #MSIgnite
I don’t think the summaries in #MSIgnite Book of News are AI powered. Why? They are consistently the same. They are almost instant. 🤭 news.microsoft.com/ignite-2025-...

The #MSIgnite Book of News. This year it’s a summary of AI announcements with AI summaries inside the summary. Just switch the AI summary on for the section you would like to summarise even more. Ask your human Microsoft Ignite analyst if this is right for you. news.microsoft.com/ignite-2025-...

🎤 tap tap tap. Hello #MSIgnite. Is this thing on? Can anyone hear… oh wait. I was on mute. Can someone create a Copilot that listens to others on the call and unmutes me when they call say, you are muted? I hope you are all ready for a deluge of Agentritified features and apps. Here we go ☔️

Man I see some weird shit in my Bluesky Discover feed.
I’m not really a Halloween fan. When asked about my plans, I don’t say boo about it.
💬 Are you ready for my call now? …how about now? …now? …now now? …wait, I’ve got another call coming in. I’ll ping you a message when I’m ready to call. …ready? Oh you’re busy now? OK I’ll schedule a call with you. 🗓️
