I'll reconvene the Housing Innovation Task Force and bring in AI experts to find new ways to speed up housing approvals and reduce planning costs. We’ve cut red tape and made it easier and cheaper to build homes in Ottawa, but there’s more work left to do.

No, trans women should not have to "accept" being labelled "biological men" for the sake of the Democrat Party. This is something I will never accept. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

From what I'm seeing and hearing of New York Comic Con I am thinking it might be a bit too much for me.

I find it interesting how many articles have to point out "AI" use. An article talks about searching records? They have to point out "AI" was used to search. No description of what they mean as "AI" & it's not relevant to the article but they feel the need to throw that in.

☹️ I mean, I'm glad they're testing and making sure everything is ready (for real this time) but it feels like it's delay after delay.

Not that I like the annoying phone calls & doorbell ringers but the only political messaging I've received so far for this municipal election is 2 automated phone calls from a guy running for school trustee. I don't remember ever hearing from the candidates running for that position previously. 🤔

Currently watching North of North during my weekly visits to my mom's but she's very distracted by how many beautiful coats Siaja owns/wears in the show.

I find more & more of my friends & acquaintances are responding to my "how are you doing?" with talk about high anxiety/stress & unable to sleep. It is not helping my own anxiety issues. Yet my therapist still wants me to get out & meet more people. 🤷🏼‍♀️

This week was light on comics for me but that's pretty much every week these days. I do still have a pile of older books to get to, hopefully before the "best of the year" lists start coming out. 🤞🤞

Yeah, I spoiled the Endgame Encore stuff for myself. I did not want to sit through that whole movie again just for a few minutes of extra stuff. And after reading about them I think I made the right call, at least for me.

The next two months are going to be rough for trans people. A lot of horrible rhetoric will be coming out, and we've seen it won't all be from one party. 💔

It irks me when I see/hear over & over again people saying "the UN gave up on the Paris Agreement/climate change goal" or whatever. I don't see it that way. It was the people & the governments we elected that gave up on doing anything, the UN is just being honest about the reality of the situation.

I'm eager to play around with the new visual security features but it's going to take me a very long time to get used to seeing that face on our money. I'm not the biggest fan of vertical bills but I guess it's yet another security thing. 🤷🏼‍♀️

So apparently the Marvel "Premier Collection" editions are prone to having the laminate on the cover (hope I'm saying that right) peel off in parts. That is rather disappointing. 🫤
