Three episodes in on ‘Crystal Lake’ and I’m still not sure how I feel about it. Other than the fact that Linda Cardellini is fantastic.

“I used to rock and roll all night and party everyday. Then it was every other day. Now I’m lucky if I can find half an hour a week in which to get funky.”
Just put two shopping carts that are stuck together in front of each candidate. Watching that play out, even for only about 30 seconds, and I’ll know exactly who deserves my vote.
Why did Dana buy a bag of big marshmallows? Does she make s’mores over the stove?
Just overheard someone say: “There’s more than one way to skin a cat.” and it took all I had to not immediately shout: “Four!”
This is the most remarkable story Ray Bradbury ever shared with me. He told it to me late one night, sitting in his den of antiquities and mementos. Take five minutes to read this. It’s pure magic. #Writing #Living #Creativity #RayBradbury #BookSky

Perhaps some sort of Turing machine could come close to figuring out how many times I read this book to my son. He never got sick of it. And neither did I.

Doing some research with some 90s magazines and this series of amazing horror movie ads came up - I don't know who the artist was, but I think they are terrific fun!
There is crying in baseball. That Tom Hanks is full of shit, man.
My goodness, what an incredible moment. After Justin Verlander secured the final out of his career, Tigers manager A.J. Hinch came out of the dugout...to summon Verlander's daughter out to embrace her dad on the mound.

Finally watched ‘Weapons’ last night. It was not at all what I was excepting, and featured a lot of people I had no idea where in it, but it was a damn good time.

The Boy loved ‘Child’s Play’ and hasn’t stopped talking about it or about asking about the sequels. So I decided to get us properly prepared.
Confession: I’ve never watched ‘The Last Starfighter’. So I’m correcting this cinematic oversight tonight as I’m in desperate need of a pick me up. I’ve also employed the help of a local establishment’s cheese bread and a Faygo Red Pop.
I saw ‘Child’s Play’ for the first time at a sleepover when I was 8 or 9 and it absolutely traumatized me. To the point that watching it can still get to me, just remembering how it made me feel at the time. All that to say, I just introduced my son (13) to it and he absolutely loved it.
