How do I stay happy in a world that’s currently working its ass off to make me sad? Happiness is in the little things. A great cup of coffee. My dog kissing my nose. Muse rubbing against me, purring. Rain and wind in the leaves, with a breeze that has a hint of the ocean… I find it where I can.
I thought Dibs had a bladder infection since she was constantly peeing so we went to the vet today. Dibley, my beautiful little heart dog, has been diagnosed with bladder cancer. She starts meds Friday in the hopes of stopping the growth or slowing it. She’s not in pain and I’ll keep it that way.
I have been waiting at the vets office for 40 minutes now. I’m starting to lose my patience. At least there’s big barky dogs that sound 30 feet tall and puppies!!!
What’s a reputable driving school that’s good with nervous drivers?

Dibs is vacationing at the vets office today to get a urine draw. She’s been peeing a lot lately and I’m not sure if that’s because of an infection, kidney stones (she masks pain really well), or behavioural issues. Hopefully it’s something that can be fixed with a few pills.

Hooray! Got the girls booked for a nice shave down for the heat. I love when they come back from the groomer - they always feel so velvety soft!
Poor Muse had some mats on the sides of her spine that she couldn't reach, and the brushes couldn't get through, so I had to resort to the clippers. She has some little bald spots, but seems overall happy... maybe. Or, maybe she'll murder me in my sleep. Who knows!

I love fireworks loud enough to shake my bedroom window. Halifax should look at doing drone fireworks. That sounds pretty bold.
I am on vacation this week and I just hooked up my new rig and downloaded my games on to it. I have a meal delivery service 2 days (4 meals), lots of Bubly water, a huge bag of Amish popping corn, sunflower seeds, coffee, lots of weed, and my week shall be spent in debauchery and nonsense.
The Melted Ice Pop Bubly water is amazing if you haven’t tried it! So good - I wish I bought a second case.

This was supposed to be a maple-onion jam topped burger but I just made it a cheeseburger. It was ok… I wouldn’t order it again, but I’m glad I tried it.
The official Gotye video is the one with the fractal, drawn-on faces and bodies but this video, made independently by CDK Company (a dance company and school based in the Netherlands) is AMAZING.
