Even if Kiseff was going to change up things in Atlyss, that's what you should have understood when you bought into an -early access- game. Thats the risk of impulse. This isn't worth the dogpiling of a solo dev even if this wasn't taken hideously out of context.
Someone in another reply to me actually clarified it even further. It was apparently a real discord message that was taken completely out of context, sent in reply to someone who had been harassing Kiseff for some time. I couldn't find it in the search because the thread it was in was nuked.

Was told Dark Souls is the same combat as Kingdom Hearts, just slower and that both are no different from arcade beat em ups. I am begging people to actually play and master more arcade games. Please 1CC Ninja Saviors or Panzer Bandit or something so you don't say dumb shit like this. 😭

Bit of worthless trivia... While I have a deep affinity for STG's and my favorite series is DoDonPachi, that is actually not where I pulled my online handle from.
Can't get attached to designs I put out. Don't know how people do it. "This is generic. Someone else already did something like this but, way better. This is tryhard. This design has no inspiration. This makes me seem like a tool." Every time. Been like this for 13 years.
