I found this sketch when I was cleaning up my old papers, thought is was good enough for a Sketch Saturday. Was practicing texturing the 3d form. Also made a point of adding strong highlight. Did all this with ballpoint so that I'd have to draw with intentionality and consideration. #sketch

Once again, I needed to relax. So I kinda just drew whatever creature popped into my head. I'm pretty sure this is not the first time I've tried to draw a furpent thing, so I guess this is a reoccurring motif when my brain just doesn't want to draw anything complicated.

I normally do TraditionalArt for #sketchsaturday but I was experimenting with a new sketch brush and thought it would be worth sharing. I learned that despite all my practice angling the snout in different directions, I'm still drawing the eyes as if they're looking straight ahead. Any suggestions?
