So I’m with a friend looking at the Allegheny Observatory Library collection. A wonderful set of physics, math, and astronomy books on multiple languages. Then I find this. I had fun trying to translate the book titles, publishers, and notes. It’s a good thing Mike speaks Russian. #Moon2Mars

Just curious if I’ve messed up or if things have changed here. I’m seeing lots of posts, but fewer discussions. And the threads that do have people involved are short. I’m not just seeing this on my posts, but on others. I really want Bluesky to be successful since it’s not so profit driven.

The wildfire smoke is here. And even though we’ve experienced this a few times, the being able to smell it indoors is a first for me. It’s also wicked hot, so people without AC are going to really suffer. I have two air cleaners and a new filter in the furnace.

My pharmacy just called me to say my refill of (controlled substance) is ready for pick up. Except I filled it in person on Thursday. On Thursday they doubled the number of pills I ordered, by mistake. I told them I did not want the extra. Pharmacist told me it was too late
