Physicist & educator Eugénie Cotton was born #OTD in 1881. A student of Marie Curie, she was the top female physics scholar in France in 1904 & ran the elite École de Sèvres, transforming scientific education for women. Her research focused on the magnetic properties of matter. 🧵 #WomenInSTEM

זה ההופכי של הסיפור שלי באמריקע: בתואר השני (כלומר השלישי הראשון ששונמך לשני) המנחה שלי אמרה: מה פתאום מבחן באנגלית? ברור שאתה מדבר אנגלית טובה! ונתנה לי פטור. בתואר השלישי השני (כלומר הראשון, כי הראשון שונמך אז לא נחשב) כבר היה לי תואר מאוניברסיטה אמריקאית, אז קיבלתי פטור.
