The media’s sudden shock over Mandelson is embarrassing. They fawned over him and if US authorities hadn’t released the Epstein files, they’d still be rubbing shoulders with him at Zone 2 dinner parties. Now they’re clutching their pearls like they weren’t part of it. Pathetic.

I went to Cambridge’s council chamber to watch the Cabinet Meeting. Much of the meeting was about £92 million being spent on the civic centre. Particular emphasis was on how the council chamber was at the heart of Cambridge’s democracy. 🤕 I tried to ask a question, I was refused. 😕 Some democracy!

We need to be honest, left leaning people are struggling. Our original party has abandoned its roots, and us, and we need a voice. 😑 But there is a new hope. Your Party has captured hearts and minds. 🙂

The slaughter of innocents in Gaza continues! 🧌 We could stop this! 🧌 At least politicians could. 🧌 I argue that we all have a responsibility to do our bit. 🧌 Could you write to your MP, asking them to intervene in our government’s policy? 🧌 Silence isn’t neutral!

This busway is designed to 1/ reduce the need to drive into Cambridge. 2/ provides safe cycle and walking route into Cambridge 3/ reduce carbon emission 4/ reduce climate change 5/ to provide a bed for light rail in the future. 🙂

There is this word ‘Parrhesia.’ 🧌 It’s very apt when applied to politics. It involves a duty to be transparent, tell the whole truth, not hide anything and not remaining silent 🧌 To me it ranks alongside the expression ‘What you don’t condemn you condone.’ 🧌 It’s about putting your principles first.

Angela Rayner can you look again at RLG for Cambridge? 🧌 According to current plans, Cambridge will soon move to a Unitary, controlled by Lib villages. 🧌 Can you keep the successful Cambridge City Council so it acts as a satellite, like the City of London, within a wider unitary authority?
