It's been a minute, Bluesky, but here is some new work from central Alberta, where I'm currently immersed in Western culture. It's been a fascinating week! An Alberta legend - BJ Smith, Cowboy Poet. BJ was an RCMP officer for many years and is a horse-trainer, mountain guide and so much more.

Last night, I spent a couple of wonderful hours with friend and fellow photographer, Paul Zizka, on the Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia, along with our kind, funny, and resourceful Bolivian guides. We laughed. Drank hot chocolate. Snapped some images. And just took it all in.

Just over a year ago I was leaving this place, the Antarctic Peninsula, after spending a couple glorious weeks at my favourite place on this planet. Here's a few penguin moments from that time and experience. I hope everyone had a great holiday season!
