I TURNED 40 TODAY! Hubby took me on a surprise cabin trip to Salt Spring, friends threw a surprise bday party, got to see Lucy Darling, & host a couple games of Blood On The Clocktower. I can't think of a better way to celebrate the week. I'm grateful for everyone who pitched in to make it happen!!

Drove an hour into the woods today to spread my dad's ashes, next to my younger brother from years ago. I still have complicated feelings about it all, but I'm glad I can close this chapter of my life and try my best to move on.
