In 2024, to attract data centers to Michigan, both Senators McCann and McMorrow voted to give data centers a tax break, good until 2050. Both are now viewing for higher office. Meanwhile cities are left little options for people that don’t want them in their neighborhood.

Pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Act. Reform the Supreme Court. Get money out of politics. Abolish ICE so they stop ruining the lives of innocent people and messing with our polling places.
Good public transit would be so great..less dependence on gas, less traffic. Make it feasible so people don’t need a car - they’re expensive not even considering gas. Unfortunately, transit is slow to get implemented and gas prices will drop and the public will go back to their gas spending habits.

Portage Street road diet as part of Kalamazoo's Safe Streets for All came up for a vote before the City Commission on Monday. Safer streets for drivers (Kalamazoo data shows decrease in accidents where road diets were done), safer for pedestrians, and bike lanes are made from extra road width.
