Those claiming hounding of Jason Arday wasn’t racist, it was started by this guy: Nathan Cofnas, a researcher whose own role at Cambridge was terminated after he saying, in a true meritocracy, black people would "disappear from almost all high-profile positions outside of sports and entertainment".

"Reform are not even the official opposition and the plans have less credibility than Count Binface. Will BBC News do the same for Lib Dem and Greens policy two years out from an election?" Of course they won’t - Lib Dems with >70 MPs barely get a mention www.thenational.scot/news/2646829...

Former BBC News director slams broadcaster's 'bizarre' Reform coverage

A FORMER BBC News director has criticised the broadcaster's coverage of Reform UK's latest welfare plans branding it "bizarre".

Just had a thought. Farage registered a £9,253 benefit from George Cottrell funding a Belgium trip in April 2024 - before the GE. This is the time that Farage and his allies say he was "not in politics." He declared that, but didn't declare the £5m Harborne gift. Something doesn't add up there...

Farage and Jenrick’s latest attack on a minority - aiming at autistic and disabled people - is grotesque. A pair of rich & privileged men attacking some of society's poorest and most marginalised people to divert attention from financial sleaze My @theipaper.com column inews.co.uk/opinion/fara...

Why oh why is BBC headlining half arsed policies, by a minority Party with just 8 MPs, that’s in a tailspin down the polls, awash with financial investigations over dodgy dealings❓ It’s clearly a diversion.. 🤷🏻‍♂️ LibDems have 71 MPs, when was the last time one of their policies got such coverage🤔

Reform UK benefits ban for foreign nationals would include EU citizens

The move would require renegotiating the UK's Brexit deal and could risk stripping British expats living in the EU of similar rights.

This cannot be done without reciprocal treatment for British migrants living in the EU, including those protected under the withdrawal agreement British exceptionalism & UK media make people think that British migrants are superior, have money, and never receive benefits. That is just not the case.

Income inequality has grown massively since Farage's beloved Thatcher was in power But Reform UK want to make it even worse proposing tax cuts for the super-rich while taking life-saving benefits away from poorest & most vulnerable people They are not on your side meme via Nobody likes a Tory

Reform are furious about LGBT books invading Warwick libraries. Reform leader George Finch said he was acting on “a number” of complaints from local people. So Labour MP Rachel Taylor asked the council for the actual figures. There have been zero complaints. via Reform Are Not Your Friends

WTAF? The BBC is now pushing random unchallenged Reform policies on its main page. Where are the articles on Lib-Dem and Green policies? Describing cuts of £50Bn as “savings” is absolutely insane. Heads need to roll.

I predicted quite a while ago that when Labour took power and both legal and irregular immigration numbers reduced, Farage would turn on the disabled as his next attack vehicle. Expect reports of disabled people being attacked in the streets now. God fucking help the gammon who tries it with me.

As we have record breaking heat wave after record breaking heat wave, it's comforting that our latest response to climate change has been to rush the construction of a thousand data centers that drink all our water and generate more CO2 than a couple industrial revolutions. JFC.

Just tried this with the small spider in the kitchen window Don't have a misting spray, so I wet my hands and flicked some droplets of water at the web (spider in the centre of it) IMMEDIATELY, the spider ran towards the droplets and started drinking them one by one 🥹 Poor thing was so thirsty

I learned via @sliderulesyou.bsky.social that the drought means spiders are dying off (and regardless of my personal feelings about them, I know they matter) so just spent a rewarding hour misting as many webs as I could find. Each time the occupant ran out for a drink. Moisten a spider today!

And there it is. Reform WILL throw hundreds of thousands of disabled people into poverty and death. THIS CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO HAPPEN. Reform proposes £50bn welfare bill cut with changes to disability payments for millions www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

According to Byline Times: "minutes of a March meeting shows that BBC News CEO Deborah Turness gave a presentation discussing plans to alter “story selection” and “other types of output such as drama” to try to win the trust of Farage voters." I'd hoped this would end after she and Davie resigned

BBC’s coverage of Reform’s welfare plans is frankly bizarre. Headlines in Ten, leading on some radio networks. Reform are not even the official opposition and the plans have less credibility than Count Binface. Will BBC News do the same for Lib Dem and Greens policy two years out from an election?
