First bittern and marsh harrier nest survey this morning with black terns visiting the reserve this afternoon. Great weather for the survey but no rain in 2 months is starting to show in the water levels
Out early this morning @rspblakenheath. Booming bitterns, marsh harriers, family of little grebes, lots of dragonflies and the greylags were annoying the pochard
