Is anyone going to be surprised when someone shouting "traitor" at an ex-squaddie with PTSD ends up being beaten to death by said squaddie because it triggered them? this is the sort of actions that can only end in 3 ways; and none are any good.

If we establish that it’s absolutely fine for the right sort of chap to spend lots of time pointing at people and screeching “traitor!” at them, then sooner or later some dickheads are going to start doing it even to fully accredited, licensed-to-kill ones of the lads.

Zia Yusuf - who isn't even an MP - calling a former captain in the Scots Guards who served in Northern Ireland and was mentioned in dispatches a "traitor to Britain" is, by any measure, completely nuts.

📌Susan Collins is voting "no" on the repulsive Blanche because she has been given political cover by Thune. Her vote doesn't matter. This isn't a heroic decision, it is pure politics, and whether anybody wants to admit it or not it's how she has survived like a parasite in that chamber for 30 years.

The best thing nurses and doctors could do is refuse to care for republican senators or congresspeople and their immediate families. say its a matter of religious freedom and choice. That will change republican attitude very very quickly.

And this is my beef with soccer. Rugby union is far better. For example at a Leicester tigers game a big burly man shouted "f-ing ref", a nearby father said "hey, not in front of children", the big bloke then apologised to everyone one around him for the language. Rugby union is family orientated

This is my beef with soccer in general. IMO Supporter Sections are where the rowdy/vocal fans stand. I understand they are usually the cheapest seats, however if you are going to bring your kids in the section, you have to understand I will yell "Fuck you ref".

Poor Yusef didnt learn anything about history un UK schools, either the syllabus was bad or he is a bit thick. For his benefit: Foreigners have been coming to these shores for well over 2000 years. (and we are all better for it)
