My orthopedist just told me my ongoing issues stem not from my original injury but from a weak posterior chain because I’ve been treating myself too timidly and told me I need to start squatting again… maybe you all SHOULD be afraid idk

D@davibroui.bsky.social · 2y agoHad one session with a physical therapist to address some ongoing range of motion issues in my left hamstring following a herniated disc in 2020 but pretty sure he just undid years’ worth of healing bc it’s painful to a level it hasn’t been since 2021 and I was pain free before the appt

Unfortunately my lower back pain flairs up every few months and even when it’s not I’m still completely unable to squat, deadlift, bent over row, or do any core work that rounds my back or twists my spine like please just put me in a bubble or something
