With rainfall projections like this, it's no wonder that all of southwestern California will be under a flood watch from late Tuesday night to late Wednesday night. NK1300 and AF1 had a bit of an "encounter" today-- ATC was reportedly yelling at NK1300 to get their attention to get them to alter course. Not sure it was a "close call" at all, but since AF1 involved.. I tend to believe the yelling part. Thanks to @petchmo.bsky.social for his help in..

I don't mind the occasional Christmas in San Diego in shorts, T-shirt, flip-flops. But the lack of any substantive rainfall for the last 7 months has fried our hillsides and gardens. I'm looking forward to a damp Christmas... hopefully.
