hello everyone! we're hard at work on an imminent launch. we have scalable monorepo support, jj-first concepts (but deep git compatibility!) and stacked diffs. we're very flattered by the attention yesterday and today!

anyways, if you have precheck or precheck ankle monitor edition (clear) and have no checked luggage, i recommend arriving at the airport 20 minutes prior to boarding. it’s marvelous.

He was right on this BTW. People get incredibly neurotic about missing flights because they've never missed one. Once it's happened to you (assuming you're not travelling with kids) it's annoying but fine and you start leaving/wasting less time at airports.

big props to edd.ca.gov for being competent state bureaucracy! our payroll provider didn't file a form for a prior quarter, so I called EDD and an extremely component staffer helped me resolve the issue almost immediately.

If leaders abuse the rule of law to make themselves immune to it, so that they can undermine the rights of others with impunity, by what moral or philosophical argument are they entitled to its protections, once they lose power? By what grace should they be sorted by law instead of by other means?

i think “get on board or get left behind” phrasing is ugly, but anthropic’s run rate went from 9 billion in december 2025 to 19 billion in march 2026. claude code has 40% margins. i rarely write code by hand these days, and there’s a ridiculous amount of low hanging fruit remaining in claude.

my other takes about effect generics is that the ecosystem has already routed around the problem it’s trying to solve, and boilerplate just *stopped mattering* when claude writes the boilerplate for me.
