The Gov alert is causing chaos on TV.

I don't think there should be a defibrilator on Snowdon. And that's a hill I'm prepared to die on
This is a great song, Lauren Laverne used to play it occasionally.

Leisure Process - A Way You'll Never Be [UK, New Wave/Post-Funk] (1982) Why wasn't Ross Middleton a bigger phenom? Mark King, of Level 42, on bass, is credited with that 80's slap bass sound. So. Good. https://redd.it/naoib5 https://youtu.be/scpypxrPrVs
Have travelled North. It’s 18 Degrees C, and there is green grass.
So, the Commonwealth Games commence tonight. 40 years ago, when the Games were in Edinburgh, it was tense in the Director’s chair “Cue the Piper, CUE the Piper” “Play, you bastard” and other non-PC comments youtu.be/DTwuI_HDhxw?

I was in Puerto Pollensa the night Spain won the 2010 World Cup. Hopefully there will be similar scenes for them tonight
Having a bottle of Leffe Blonde. Just spotted it’s brewed in the UK, so will be looking a beer brewed in Belgium next time

Taking my mum to the ABBA Voyage show, and a drink at a gin distillery/bar nearby. Think they used an old airport sign for the loos. One of those tower blocks must be Lund Point, home of the News during the 2012 Olympics.
The Wimbledon Slamtracker on the app is ahead of the TV. Telly takes about 5 seconds to get to our screens.

Never mind Long Wave being turned off, it’s 14 years since I turned analogue itv off for this area.
Nice to be able to bring my Eurostar booking forward an hour for this evening, for no extra charge or admin fee, while having a Fritland lunch with a can of Belgian Pils near the Grotemarkt.
Could almost be doing it as a local, sitting on a Ghent tram booking the train to Brussels that left in just over 10 mins - with Train+ railcard for the month. Just 20 mins, and we’ll be back in the metropolis. Public transport seems so good around here.
