Jazz OTD: Hank Jones had a valuable late 1970s gig as the pit band pianist for the celebrated Broadway show of Fats Waller tunes, "Ain't Misbehavin." On August 5-6, 1979, he recorded a Waller tribute of that same name. I particularly like the trio pieces (with Richard Davis & Roy Haynes). #jazzsky
