Are the conservatives on the court not concerned about a future President AOC or whoever who just designates a bunch of countries as, “unsafe” without evidence, and makes broad numbers of people eligible for TPS? #scotus #tps

Fourth (and *last*) ruling from #SCOTUS is in TPS. For the usual 6-3 majority, Justice Alito holds that federal law forecloses judicial review of statutory challenges to the executive branch's termination of temporary protected status for Haiti, Syria, etc.: www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/25p...

We are not giving the President's political hatchet man, Bill Pulte, the ability to spy on you! Voted against House Republicans' FISA reauthorization that does not do enough to protect Rhode Islanders rights. We cannot give Trump and his unqualified cronies unchecked power to surveil Americans.

As someone who ran (unsuccessfully) for a local school committee position, I learned that donating to local and state candidates is where it's at. They can barely afford lawn signs, and don't know how to talk to the local paper. Throw in $50 or let them use your yard for a campaign event.
