In 2018, I flipped a seat Republicans had won by 20 points, becoming the youngest Black woman to serve in Congress. Since then, I've passed 19 pieces of legislation – under the Trump and Biden administrations. That's what next-generation leadership looks like in Congress.

I believe so since everyone communicates and interprets things differently. I really like physical touch not in a flirtatious manner but like touching people or standing close when we talk & I have to actively remind myself sometimes it can be misread or that everyone's not comfortable with that
