If you aren't in a position to sponsor, there are other ways to support maintainers. Pitch an OSS fund in your company. Share a positive experience you had with their library in social or in the project community chat. Go to their repositories and thoroughly review a PR or triage an issue.

Just built Vue's SFC playground (~17mb JS output before gzip) using the latest continuous release of rolldown-powered-vite. It's a drop-in replacement. Dev and prod work exactly the same, and the prod build went from 8.51s to 2.95s (~3x speedup) with zero code changes.

We have 6% of the followers here compared to the 100k in X. The vite 6.0 announcement in bluesky already got half the reposts and a third of the likes. And most of the comments and quotes from OSS maintainers happened here. I don't know about other communities, but OSS web dev is a bluesky game now.
