Sure, Democrats are not perfect and we have some bad apples. But sexual harassment and abuse of women has become an absolute epidemic among elected Republicans because it is the culture of the party under lifetime serial sexual harasser Donald Trump.
Boutros has responded by suggesting that the gross misconduct that came to light in the Broadview 6 case predated his tenure, and therefore Trump. An interesting defense, shall we say.

Fetterman and Stewart talk past each here. Fetterman is correct that Israel never had a Palestinian partner for peace; and Arab and Iranian regimes fund/support rejectionists. But Stewart-and many Israeli military and intelligence leaders-are right that Israel's current course is unsustainable

Any D candidate who is running a general election campaign in a swing state or distict focused on their opposition to the existence of Israel - rather than their opposition to the Trumped GOP - will be making a huge political error. I doubt El-Sayed will do so.

What will determine the future of the party is whether candidates who have been sharpening their knives against the Democratic Party in Democratic primaries will be able to consolidate Democratic voters behind them in November.

I love this very British account of George Washington and the "tax revolt" he fought for. As the guys acknowledge, they have to keep up the sarcasm in order to avoid being drawn too deeply into the still resonant romance of the story.

Seth Rogan has long been brilliant at playing shlubs who somehow find themselves with beautiful, successful women. See Knocked Up and Take This Waltz (Sarah Polley's excellent film). But he outdoes his shlubness in Olivia Wilde's The Invite. Highly recommended.
Putting forward such an entirely unprepared candidate at the top of the Democratic ticket in a crucial swing state - in which devoted D party members have spent years rebuilding - would be political malpractice.

As the productive partnership between Biden and Sanders demonstrated during the last presidency, there's a model for Democrats of varying ideological stripes to work together. But effectuating it will require all Democratic Party leaders and their supporters to treat other Democrats as allies.
