I read, write, and watch too much TV...so very average at my two favourite things, playing football and guitar, though not at the same time
watched Arcadian and it was pretty good; a straightforward set up of a father and his two sons on a derelict farm in a post-apocalyptic world, decently conceived monsters that can't handle the light and enough story and action to keep things ticking over until the big finale, a solid 3.5 out of 5 📽🎥
Adventures of Robin Hood absolutely blew my mind when I was six, you could climb up the buildings and trees and fire arrows off at the enemy...I have since revisited this game and it's terrible but six year old me was so content despite never really progressing too far on it

I'm talking about the game that flipped that little switch in your brain and made into a life-long gamer. So, which game is 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨?
mucked up something on the R36S so had to reinstall it from scratch and I can't tell you how much I dislike the default frontend and themes
the final two shows were Miles Jupp as host with Michelle Wolf and Charlie Baker, and Jamali Maddix as host with Bella Hull and Harriet Dyer...all very different acts, all very funny, and that's the end of that 🎭

seen this umpteen times including at the Royal Albert Hall with a David Arnold led orchestra but I'm still of the opinion of things were planned properly it should have ended with Bond saying, 'the job's done and the bitch is dead' and Quantum of Solace opens with the Mr White Lake Como scene

session four, got four regulars now and there were six in total so just got straight down to a 3v3 with rush keeper, one guy was loving it when his side was up but literally walked off as soon as they fell behind, no words, just ditched his bib and walked so I jumped in and it was a fun hour or so ⚽️
David Snow@davidsnow.bsky.social · 3w agosession three done, gentle Sunday rondo followed by a little 4v4 two touch pass game, a couple of returners and some new faces - not enough to start proper coaching yet but build it and they will come etc - two more short FA modules to complete before embarking on the big one ⚽️
how is Chaka Khan in her seventies and still reaching her top register, there's never enough honey and lemon tea to still sound this good
match 45, 9-a-side and played CDM, lots of blocks and getting the ball out to the super quick wide guys, got two assists and scored an own goal but we won so it's fine (it rounded off a decent move for the other side tbf, but their forward who didn't score all game was fuming lol) ⚽️

so because of allergy and cat flap issues our neighbour has a dedicated day room for Iggy and every so often he has visitors, and today it was Warren and Carly who popped in 😸

The Mayor's office says the the city not consulted by United on whether this was wise. Denver's Office of Emergency Management is prepping first responders and emergency dispatchers.
everything arrived and the generic PS3 controllers small print said they'd only pair with a PS3 but I held the middle and start buttons and the tv box found them straight away, so that was nice...retroarch and file manager APK's installed no bother and now it's just adding the cores, bios, and roms
David Snow@davidsnow.bsky.social · 2w agoI'm no security expert but obtaining cores and bios and doing stuff manually because there's absolutely no way a dirt cheap tv box ever gets hooked up to the home internet...it's kind of therapeutic arranging all the files for tomorrow's special delivery

I can't promise I wasn't hallucinating, but she woke me up to tell me that in a past life she was a Viking Shield Maiden. that's why her middle name is Brunhilda.
