Tesco is cutting 400 jobs to save money. But it could just cut its CEO who is paid more than 400 workers. Also, of course, Tesco has record profits, so it doesn't need to save money.

Hmm, my sourdough culture seems to have really slowed down resulting in a bit of a flat loaf... This is my first loaf in about a month so could it be that? It's been in the fridge all that time. Any tips on reviving it and getting it more active?

Attempting to make some starter wort in the pressure cooker today - canned wort as the Americans tend to call it. 114g DME, 240ml RO water, and a pinch of yeast nutrient per jar. Each jar will make enough for a 1 litre starter at 1.040. Will see how this goes! #homebrew

If you bring central London to a halt in order to campaign against catastrophic climate change then you're a "barmy" eco "fanatic" who deserves to be locked up. If you do the same to hang on to your multimillion pound inheritance tax exemption then you're a brave freedom fighter defying the odds
