for coding, 'production' is running code in the right place; for mathematics it's the increased knowledge understood, propagated and taught in the community. AI curation isn't here yet; humans accepting and consuming useful AI outputs needs well-resourced humans!
I got my second perfect, five-alarm [all spicy] #SMUSH in a row (this one was <5 min, 8 words; but yesterday’s higher scoring, 12 words 876) So, surprisingly, that streak was at least briefly sustainable.

PSA: not only did @kagi.com ship (arbitrary, if inconsistent) Firefox+Chrome WebExts in iOS Orion But (TIL) iOS Edge also has gained support for 19 specific extensions (that pretty much covers what I have Safari extensions for, and includes a userscript manager) 🤯 Your move, @vivaldi.com 🙃

PSA for #macos27 beta users who also use @1password.bsky.social: the irritating thing that is interfering with ⌘⇧␣ activation is found under "Screenshots" in System Settings > Keyboard > [Keyboard Shortcuts…]
The rare properly /deep/ freeze on macOS, hung somewhere in kernel space (in this case mid `diskutil apfs resizeContainer`) is made _especially_ disconcerting on a MacBook by how the touchpad haptics go MIA and the solid illusion of click is broken …like you've made physics itself panic

Grants can be cancelled for any reason, at any time, political appointees have a final say over what gets funded, and who gets funded.
