to elaborate on this I don’t like that they made menelaus an andrew tate lookalike and I don’t agree w that direction for his character. yes he does consider women (esp helen) to be his property but he wouldn’t express it in terms of “wow look at my wife who’s less hot now”. makes no sense at all

i did have a few moments where i thought “they would not fucking say that”. but overall i thought this was the movie nolan was meant to make, which i always respect a lot. this movie was made to please the creator and not me
