New upcycle project. Component rack. Shelves are “Butcherblock” milled from salvaged GluLam beams. Uprights are old growth cedar from logs pulled out of Lake Union. Used to float boathouses. #woodworking #reuse #recycle

Found 2 of these maple work benches at the garage sale of a retired shop teacher. Scraped off a lot of glue, restored the vise, turned a new handle and added a bottom shelf of salvaged fir flooring. Keeping one and customer bought the other for a kitchen island #woodworking #woodturning #reuse
