My favorite part of The Lion King is in Hakuna Matata where they walk across the log and time passes and it shows Simba grows up and it's just that Timon and Pumbaa found this half-dead kid of a species that could eat them, who had a dark trauma, and they raised him with love and comfort and joy

I only just realized as a millennial how our generational heartache of losing two truly good role models for joy and exuberance in Steve Irwin and Robin Williams. No,we didn't know them, but they were showing us how to live joyously and kindly. I believe the lessons stuck before they passed.
