I cannot believe I'm 46 years old and seeing "Beware of Measles" signs when I go to the local hospital and doctors offices for appointments. We spent my whole childhood getting rid of that... What a fucking mess.

And Broken Trust (Book 4 of Otherworld Adventures) has been sent to my editor. Generally, a 3-week process from start of editing to release, give or take health and variables. Should be released by Mid-July at the latest.

I've updated all of the paperbacks to "Groundwood" paper. Groundwood paper is cheaper, which means I'll earn a bit more on paperbacks. It's also better for the environment. It's nice to be able to do something environmentally conscious, even if I can't know how well it'll turn out.

That feeling when your social battery is drained, you don't have the spoons to be funny, and the world is on fucking fire... but you know you still need to advertise your books because no one is going to do it for you... and you just can't muster the juice. Ugh, can life just... pause? Time out?

Getting 5,000 words down in a single day shouldn't feel like such an accomplishment. When my pattern is steady, 2,500 a day is simple and leaves me energized. Now I'm struggling to write more than 2-3 days a week and so I'm pushing harder to balance it. I'm so done with stress.

This writer's block has been kicking my ass. I wanted book 4 to be 50% done by April 1st. I'm going to be 25% at best. I am hoping I won't have to delay editing, because I want this book out in June. But I am really struggling to find joy in the world, and it hurts my writing.

Grimmwald 2 is out on Audiobook! So grab your tesla coils, charge up your monster, and get ready for the understated challenge of mad science. Being betrothed to murderously psychotic women.
