I can’t even begin to guess what Dreamtonic’s new product is. But if I had to… I’d wager it may be some kind of proprietary DAW. DT is very focused on voice-based products, so I could be totally off the mark there, but… literally what else could they even do?

This might be a bit of a hot-take, but I kind of wish that people would stop recommending C+V English as an "easy" alternative to making English voicebanks. Bc, yes, it is "easy", but it also has a very specific artificial-sounding output that isn't necessarily always conducive to clear English

I've been taking it easy with voicebank stuff since Symphonia Vol.1, both bc it was exhausting, and bc of the musical I'm in irl keeping me busy. Once August comes around though, I should begin full production on my next project.

Dear YouTube voice actors and voice over people, for the love of god, could you PLEASE try to pronounce the text you’re reading correctly. Istg, every time I encounter any sort of YT short that’s voicing a text post or comic, SOMETHING that should be easy to pronounce is flubbed.

I see a lot of people talk about “A Fox in Space” as a good example of indie animation, and uhhh… Guys? Did we all like… Forget that the creator is pretty affiliated with outright neo-nazis and alt-right groups? As late as May of this year, he’s still friends with some of those people apparently :/
